BSH Home Appliances Group (BSH Hausger？te GmbH) is a well-known manufacturer of home appliances in Europe and one of the leading companies in the sector worldwide. The group was founded in 1967 as a joint venture between Robert Bosch GmbH (Stuttgart) and Siemens AG (Munich). Since the beginning of 2015, BSH exclusively belongs to the Bosch Group.

BSH Home Appliances Holding (China) Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as BSH China) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BSH Home Appliances Group. On October 28, 2010, BSH China was founded in Nanjing’s Gulou District. As BSH Home Appliances Group’s regional headquarter in China, BSH China is responsible for investment in and management of all of the Group’s five subsidiaries in China, including three production bases in Nanjing, Wuxi, and Chuzhou and sales and after-sales companies. BSH China also provides financial, HR, information technology, and supply chain management services to the subsidiaries. At the end of 2011, BSH Holding China was recognized by the Nanjing Municipal People’s Government as Nanjing’s first regional headquarters for a transnational company, and on August 31, it was recognized by the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province as a pioneering multinational company in Jiangsu Province. In April, 2016, it was recognized by the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and the Jiangsu Provincial Government as “Jiangsu Excellent Company”.
博西家用电器投资（中国）有限公司（以下简称博西中国）是德国博西家用电器集团的外商投资全资子公司，于2010年10月28日在中国江苏省南京市鼓楼区成立。作为博西家电在华地区总部，其主要职能是投资和管理所有在华投资的五家子公司，包括位于南京、无锡、安徽滁州的三家生产基地，以及销售公司和售后服务公司，提供子公司所需要的财务、人事、信息技术、供应链管理等服务。2011年底，博西家用电器投资（中国）有限公司被南京市人民政府认定为南京市首家跨国公司地区总部。2012年8月31日，被认定为江苏省首批跨国公司功能性机构之一。2016年4月，被江苏省委、省政府评选为“江苏省优秀企业”。

At first, BSH China focused solely on the manufacturing industry. Gradually the company expanded into the commercial and R&D fields and even founded a holding company and transnational regional headquarters. This growth trajectory is an embodiment of its proactive response to industrial chain extension, functional chain expansion, and enhancement of the value chain as advocated by the Chinese government. Meanwhile, it fully demonstrates BSH Home Appliances Group’s acknowledgement of the investment environment in Jiangsu and Nanjing as well as its confidence in the prospects for China’s economic development.

At present, BSH China is one of BSH Home Appliances Group’s most important production and R&D bases in the world and one of its most important data centers in the Asia Pacific region.

Since 2014, BSH was recognized as a “Top Employer China” for the 4th time by the Employers Institute and also named “Top Employer Asia Pacific” in 2015 and 2016. This award marks the talent strategy’s significant success in talent management and also sets an industry-wide benchmark for home appliance manufacturers. By the December 31 of 2017, BSH had about 13, 696 employees in China.

As a famous European white home appliance manufacturer, which also enjoys a leading position internationally, BSH Home Appliances Group entered the China market in 1994. In the same year, the first joint venture washing machine factory was founded in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. In 1995, a refrigerator factory was completed in Chuzhou, An’hui Province. In 1997, the sales company was registered in Nanjing. In 2004, the BSH Appliances Park for manufacturing, R&D, and logistics in Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone began operation. In November 2015, BSH launched the Dish Care Engineering Center in Nanjing, China, which has become the second largest engineering center for BSH’s dishcare division worldwide. In November 2015, the BSH (Chuzhou) Home Appliances Park was officially launched and the Group’s first dishwasher factory broke ground in Chuzhou, China. In November 2016, BSH breaks ground on new Region Greater China R&D center in Nanjing. The facility will have a total investment of 400 million RMB and a construction area of 30,000 square meters; upon completion, it will become one of the most important parts of BSH’s global R&D system. June 1, 2017, BSH held the opening ceremony of its second refrigerator manufacturing building in BSH Chouzhou Home Appliance Park. The new factory, located in BSH Home Appliances Industrial Park (Chuzhou), is equipped with leading German technologies and a globally unified high standard production line with designed annual capacity of 2.4 million units. Moreover, BSH Home Appliances and Chuzhou Municipal People’s Government have signed a new memorandum of understanding (MOU), under which BSH will invest 600 million RMB to set up a brand new oven factory in the industrial park. On March 27, 2018, BSH also signed a new letter of intent with the Chuzhou government to invest about 1.69 billion RMB setting up a dryer factory and a washing machine factory in BSH (Chuzhou) Home Appliances Park, as well as improving the park's overall smart manufacturing capabilities. The two plants, will each have a designed capacity of 1.2 million units. On March 28, 2018, BSH held a ceremony at BSH (Chuzhou) Home Appliances Park for the opening of a dish care factory and the laying of foundation of an oven factory. The new dishwasher factory began production with an initial planned annual capacity over 600,000 units and potential to expand to 2 million units. The new facility aims to meet growing demand in the market. The oven factory will formally start its operation in 2021. The preliminary designed capacity is 1 million units a year with a future capacity of up to 2 million units.
作为欧洲知名、世界领先的国际白色家电制造商，博西家用电器集团1994年正式进入中国市场，同年，***家合资洗衣机工厂在江苏无锡建成。1995年，位于安徽滁州的冰箱工厂落成。1997年，销售公司在南京注册成立。2004年，在南京经济技术开发区投资建成了集生产、研发和物流为一体的博西家电园。2015年11月，公司在南京的洗碗机研发中心正式揭幕，成为博西家电洗碗机在全球范围内第二大技术中心。2015年11月，博西（滁州）家电产业园正式启动，同时博西家电在华首家洗碗机工厂正式落户滁州。2016年11月，博西家电大中华区研发中心在南京破土动工，该研发中心总投资4亿元人民币，建筑面积达3万平方米，建成后将成为博西家用电器集团全球研发体系重要的组成部分。2017年6月1日，博西家电在安徽滁州召开博西华家用电器有限公司搬迁项目暨冰箱工厂二期投产仪式。该工厂位于博西（滁州）家电产业园内，采用德国领先技术并配备全球统一高标准生产线，未来将具备240万台年生产力。与此同时，博西家电还与滁州市人民政府签订新的合作意向书，将投资6亿人民币在博西（滁州）家电产业园建设全新的烤箱工厂。2018年3月27日，博西家电还与滁州市人民政府签订了新的合作意向书，投资16.9亿人民币用于博西（滁州）家电产业园干衣机和洗衣机工厂的建设以及博西（滁州）家电产业园智能制造水平的提升。干衣机工厂和洗衣机工厂的设计产能均为120万台。3月28日，博西家用电器集团在博西（滁州）家电产业园举办了洗碗机工厂投产暨烤箱工厂奠基仪式。该洗碗机工厂设计产能为200万台，一期产能为60万台/年，同时具有灵活扩产的空间以满足中国和世界范围内不断增长的市场需求。烤箱工厂计划于2021年正式投产，设计初期产能为100万台，未来将具备200万台年生产能力。

So far, the types of products manufactured or sold by BSH Home Appliances Group include home refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, kitchen appliances, small home appliance products, dishwashers and ovens, etc. The major product brands in China are Siemens, Bosch and Gaggenau, among which Siemens has been a leading foreign brand in China’s home appliances market for many years.
目前博西家用电器集团在华生产和销售的产品品类包括家用电冰箱、洗衣机、干衣机、厨房电器、小家电产品、洗碗机和烤箱等。销售的主要品牌为西门子家电、博世家电、嘉格纳，其中的西门子家电品牌长期占据中国家电市场外资品牌领先地位。
