Surgical Science Sweden AB于1999年在哥德堡成立，在瑞典哥德堡大学医院和萨尔葛兰斯卡研究院多年研究成果的依托下，率先运用VR技术开发国际领先的医学模拟设备，并且开设了各类应用于腹腔镜与内窥镜手术的技能培训课程。20年来，公司在医学职业培训与评估领域上，投入了大量资金以及引进技术人才，致力于研发高质量产品，产品适用范围广，包括临床教育、继续教育以及进阶训练。医生可在虚拟仿真手术环境的模拟器上演练，锻炼技巧以提高真实手术中的效率和精确度,实现从虚拟训练到临床手术室的技能转移。
