With a history of more than 90 years, the medium-sized and family-own company Fricke Group is one of the leading service providers for agricultural machinery, commercial vehicles, trucks and trailer, landscaping equipment and related spare parts. Fricke is headquartered in Heeslingen, Germany and currently employs more than 1,700 people worldwide. In 2016, the Fricke Group reached a total sales turnover of more than 600 million Euros.
Since spare parts are a major parts of the Fricke Group’s Business, it has always been crucial for the company to have strong global sourcing capabilities. Fricke has sourcing office in Poland, Turkey, Indian and China.
The sourcing activities in China and Asia are managed by the local Sourcing Centre in Shanghai. This office was established in 2005. In China, the Fricke Group mainly focuses on sourcing all spare parts, such as: castings, steel components, shock absorbers, bearings, breaking discs, LED-parts, tools and tires, etc.
The sourcing volume in Asia is expected to grow significantly during the coming years especially in China, Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand.
