Fixatti stands for the merger of Schaetti Coating Techology and Dakota Coatings, both considered global leaders in the adhesive powder and coating industry, who joined forces in November 2018. Both companies have an extensive production capacity in grinding, compounding and blending of a variety of polymers. Whereas Schaetti has always leveraged on their own polymerization of thermoplastic co-polyamides and co-polyesters, Dakota remains a very strong player in different but complementary niche products, such as the production of Epoxy Polyester binding resins for the acoustic felt business and high value polyurethanes for the custom heat transfer and conveyor belt industry.
