Founded in 1882, Matson Navigation Company is one of the leading U.S.ocean shipping carriers. Matson is the first company providing TransPacific container liner service in 1967. Matson is a NYSE-listed public company (NYSE: MATX). The company is headquartered in Honolulu and also has offices in over 20 major cities in the US.
In February 2006, Matson launched a new weekly liner service from Long Beach, California, to Ningbo and Shanghai, using five 2600-TEU containerships. In May 2009, we introduced Xiamen port to our CLX service scope. The company has offices in Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. In China, the company pioneered the concept and accomplished the goal of 12-day availability from Shanghai to Long Beach.

2006年2月，美森推出了从宁波和上海至美国加州长滩的全新周班集装箱班轮服务，用5条2600标箱集装箱船运营这条中国—长滩快捷航线（CLX）。2009年5月，厦门港加入这条中国—长滩快捷航线（CLX）。目前，美森已在上海、宁波、厦门、深圳和香港设立分公司，并在中国凭借先进的理念引领市场，向客户成功实现从上海到长滩12天提货交付的承诺。
