vision textiles was founded in 1998 by monique maissan and is a well-known example of successful dutch entrepreneurship in shanghai and its surroundings. it has grown from a textiles sourcing agent to a fully-fledgged fashion powerhouse with its own manufacturing base in shanghai, two manufacturing joint ventures in the yangtze river delta, as well as a sourcing office in india.
nowadays monique 's company not only provides production services, but also independently designs and produces full fashion collections for foreign and local retailers.

vision textiles prides itself on being an innovative company with the ability to adapt to everchanging demands. with this motivation in mind, vision textiles registered a new brand in early 2012 called waste2wear which uses recycled plastic bottles to create eco-friendly recycled polyester, oftern in combination with other materials such as biological cotton. currently, vision textiles is utilizing the waste2wear brand for its school and corporate uniform clients as well as its fashion clients.

through various efforts, vision textiles focuses on supporting disabled children in special schools and orphanages mainly in china and *** by supplying free garments via active involvement projects contributed by children attending international schools. such projects help creating awareness and consciousness about life and goodwill amongst fortunate children.

vision textiles produces life style garments in china and india, developed in co-creation with top fashion designers from europe and the us. the company focuses on ladies, children and school uniforms. vision textiles is since 16 years in china, since 6 years in india, and has a 5 years intra-china trade track record. the company currently serves 30 global life style brands, 15 international schools and exports to 25 countries in europe, us, canada and asia. vision textiles has a dedicated sourcing team, and offers knitted, woven and full collection integration. all items are produced according to the highest european standards, and in a humanitarian friendly manner.

vision textiles has two joint ventures: one high level woven garments in ling ping (650 highly skilled workers) and one knit-factory in huzhou ( 800 workers) making high quality flat knit items both with hand knit machines and 45 stoll computer machines.
in march 2011 vision textiles opened its own woven garment factory"focus".

monique is a china based european entrepreneur, specializiing in high quality ladies-woven and knitted garments. she first came to china as a senior buyer of c&a holland in the 1980s and after seeing china's potential, she decided to move there and initially became the managing director of a large german textile trading company before setting up her own organization.
