ABB与四方的合作关系可追溯至2000年，我们曾在三峡高压直流输电项目中一起合作并在灵宝项目一起中标，展开了全面合作的新篇章。
ABB is proud to be the pioneer in HVDC technology. It has been around 60 years since ABB commissioned the world’s first commercial HVDC link from the Swedish mainland to the island of Gotland in the Baltic sea. Ever since ABB has developed and implemented several break through technologies and successfully put more than 100 projects in commercial operation all over the world.

ABB has also had a successful run so far in China with majority of the projects employing ABB technology. The reliability figures of ABB projects in China are undisputedly the best in the world.

In line with ABB’s strategy and ambition to China market from China, we have taken this major step to localize the HVDC business in China and continue to serve the customers even better with a strong local presence. China market continues to be very strong and strategically important for ABB and we took the step to invest further in this market with Sifang as our partner in the HVDC business. ABB Sifang Power Systems Co Ltd is a product of this strategic partnership.

ABB and Sifang relationship and cooperation dates back to year 2000 and we have successfully worked together in the Three Gorges HVDC projects, Lingbao HVDC project among others.
