Edwards the world’s leading manufacturer of sophisticated vacuum products and abatement systems for the semi-conductor industry already invested $40m in a new world class facility in Qingdao. Founded in the UK in 1919, Edwards are a global industrial technology company, still headquartered in the UK but with over 4000 skilled employees located in Europe, Americas and Asia. Edwards has over 200 professional and talented employees working in Qingdao. This new manufacturing facility located in the Qingdao High Tech Development Zone will produce sophisticated high vacuum pumps, mainly for the Chinese market and has been operational from end-2014.
