volvo construction equipment technology (china) is located in high-tech zone of jinan, shandong. volvo construction equipment jinan tech center will focus on r&d of construction equipment and components for emerging markets. it will be the first volvo construction equipment tech center in china, and the first tech center in jinan established by a world top 500 enterprise. volvo construction equipment tech center in jinan will undoubtedly play an important role in volvo construction equipment’s global r&d network, pushing volvo construction equipment’s strategic development and upgrading in china.

one of the priorities for the tech center is to build a strong r&d team comprising both local and foreign talent to bring new products to market. it is planned that up to 200 engineers could be working here by the end of 2013. volvo construction equipment jinan tech center will receive full support from volvo headquarters, especially in technology, resources, and manpower.

沃尔沃建筑设备技术（中国）有限公司坐落于山东省济南市东部的高新技术开发区。2011年10月18日，沃尔沃建筑设备济南研发中心奠基仪式在山东省济南市隆重举行。该中心致力于研究与开发适合新兴市场的整机、总成及零部件产品，是沃尔沃建筑设备中国地区目前***的产品与技术中心，也是济南首家世界500强企业设立的***研发中心。沃尔沃建筑设备济南研发中心将成为沃尔沃全球研发网络中的重要一环，推动沃尔沃建筑设备在华战略的发展与升级。
目前，中心的首要任务是招募、组建一支强大的中外技术研发团队，沃尔沃建筑设备技术（中国）有限公司欢迎全国的优秀人才加盟。按计划，到2013年中心的专业研发和设计人员有望达到近200名。同时全球的主要研发中心也会提供济南中心以技术、资源、人员等多方面的支持。
