Carestream Health was found in 2007 by Onex, as an independent subsidiary of Onex Corporation of Toronto. Onex acquired the Health Group of Eastman Kodak Company in a multi-billion-dollar transaction.

There are more than 8,100 employees all of the world and Carestream Health owns more than 1,000 patents for technology and intellectual property. Our products and services are present in 90% of hospitals worldwide.
